My journey at Geethanjali
Namaskaram! My name is Balaji, and I would like to share a bit about myself. I completed my 10th grade education in my village, and after finishing my 12th grade, I made the decision to join Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology in Hyderabad.
Before joining college, I had very limited exposure to the world of technology. My communication skills were lacking, and I had no technical knowledge. Additionally, I didn't know how to operate a computer.
I am grateful for the support and opportunities provided by my college, which has played a pivotal role in my transformation. Today, I am proud to say that I am handling two projects, and I want to thank my college for supporting students like me.
I am Rupaji Balaji, a first year engineering student with a passion for technology and innovation. Throughout my academic journey, I have actively participated in various hackathons and coding competitions which have allowed me to apply my technical skills to build creative solutions.
I secured 3rd place in the student category at a national-level hackathon organized by Sri Balaji University in Pune.
I am currently working on two interesting projects: "Hole Sols" (hardware) and "Bus Pakdo" (software).
I have participated in top hackathons and in international research conferences.

Team Nature Innovatives participated in the SIH Internal Hackathon, hosted by Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology, on 26th September 2023, presenting an idea on Biodegradable Plastic.
Successfully completed the Value-Added Course on Startup Development by presenting an idea on recovering stolen mobile phones on 2nd October 2023. This course was conducted under the guidance of Manoj Kumar Badagharwala and hosted by Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology.
Presented my research paper on "Color Psychology in Business - Digital Influence" at the International Research Conference hosted by "Westford University" on 9th December 2023.
Successfully completed my IoT Value-Added Course by presenting an idea for a "Night Duty Robot" on the final day of the course. This was done under the guidance of Baradwaj Arvapally, founder of AB Tech Ville, and hosted by Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology.
My cofounder and I presented our hardware project, "HOLESOLS," at the national-level hackathon hosted by Sri Balaji University in Pune and won 3rd prize in the student category on 10th January 2024.
My cofounder and I participated in the project expo hosted by Mahendra University, Hyderabad, on 7th March 2024, to showcase our hardware project, "Holesols."
I participated in "GEENOVATE," a 2-day national-level hackathon hosted by Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology, with my team on 15th and 16th March 2024. We presented our software project, "Bus Pakdo."
I presented my research paper, "Modern Cryptography and Networking," at the International Research Conference hosted by VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Technology on 25th April 2024.
I successfully completed the NPTEL 4-week online course on "Design Thinking" and earned a certification with a score of 67%.
